Northern Metropolitan

The upper house seat of Northern Metropolitan Region is 536 square kilometres in size and covers one fifth of metropolitan Melbourne.

The Northern Metropolitan Region spans from Melbourne’s CBD to Mickleham and Kalkallo in the north, South Morang and Greensborough in the east and Bulla and Oaklands Junction in the west.

Some of its diverse features include the MCG, Parliament House, the Docklands, Flemington Racecourse, the Royal Agricultural Society Showgrounds, the Zoological Gardens and Fitzroy Gardens.

It takes in 11 lower house seats: Broadmeadows, Brunswick, Bundoora, Melbourne, Mill Park, Northcote, Pascoe Vale, Preston, Richmond, Thomastown, and Yuroke.
