COVID-19 testing update > Call-to-Test service

Yesterday we announced a new COVID-19 Call-to-Test service for Victoria, providing in-home COVID-19 testing to Victorians who are otherwise unable to go and get tested.

This is a service for people with a disability, their carers, those with illnesses that keep them at home and very elderly Victorians.

People can arrange a test by calling the COVID-19 hotline on 1800 675 398.

Additionally, new rapid response testing teams have been established to provide on-site testing at outbreaks and suspected outbreaks across both metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

These teams will boost testing capacity in communities where a fixed site may not always be needed.

There are more than 180 sites across Victoria offering free testing. Everyone who is tested for coronavirus helps us understand how this highly contentious and deadly virus is spreading.

If you have any symptoms of coronavirus, however mild, please get tested.
