Chaldean Babylonian New Year 7312

I also had the pleasure of attending the Chaldean Babylonian New Year Festival on Sunday 1 April 2012 at the Coburg Lake Reserve which celebrated the 7312 Babylonian Year, which originated from the Chaldean Babylonians in the land of Mesopotamia.  This festival also known as the Akitu Festival marks the arrival of spring in the Northern Hemisphere and dates back to Ancient Mesopotamia.  The festival was filled with music, costumes and dances showcasing the Chaldean culture.
