Godfrey Street Neighbourhood House, Labor Cares
On 15 June 2012, Jenny, together with the Leader of the Opposition, Daniel Andrews, visited the Godfrey Street Neighbourhood House in Bentleigh. The centre continues to call on the Baillieu Government to reinstate funding to the Take a Break Occasional Child Care program, which was axed last year. Up to 220 centres and 9,000 families across Victoria have been affected, with many centres increasing their fees and some programs closing altogether. The Labor Opposition continues to call for funding to be reinstated.
