UPGRADING MORELAND PRIMARY SCHOOL
Students in Brunswick will soon have access to the first-rate classrooms and facilities they deserve, with the upgrading of facilities at Moreland Primary School.
The $642,500 upgrade will see the replacement of classroom windows, fix the in-ground stormwater system and build a sensory playground.
Sensory playgrounds help children develop problem solving skills, express emotion, promotes empathy and engenders lasting confidence.
Under the Andrews Labor Government’s school building boom, a total of 100 new schools will open over the next eight years, ensuring every child has a great local school and a great start in life.
The Labor Government has invested $3.8 billion in delivering more than 1,300 school upgrades and supporting almost 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
