BELL PRIMARY SCHOOL UPGRADE A STEP CLOSER
Students at Bell Primary School are a step closer to the facilities they deserve, with Maddison Architects appointed to design a $2 million upgrade of the school.
Jenny Mikakos, MP, Member for Northern Metropolitan Region announced the appointment today.
The $2 million upgrade includes works to upgrade and modernisation the school. This funding will enable the school to deliver components of a school-funded master plan, provide better functionality for the growing school and begin to bring facilities in line with 21st century pedagogy needs.
The Andrews Labor Government is building the Education State so that every Victorian students gets the opportunity for a great education and every community has access to a great school.
The project is part of a $2.5 billion investment by the Government in the past three Budgets to improve classrooms, upgrade facilities and build new schools across the state.
This school building boom has delivered more than 1,000 school upgrades and 56 new school projects across the state, supporting almost 5000 construction jobs for Victorians.
